cell type deconvolution from gene expression data

In this project I used PCA analysis to identify and filter genes that were specific for cell types in our dataset

Type of data: Bulk RNA sequencing of brain organoids

Goal: Deconvolute cell types from bulk RNA sequencing

Approach: using the rotation of the principal components of predefined markers from a human gene expression dataset, I filtered the genes that had the same rotation and were below a certain threshold. This allowed me to identify and select only the markers that were consistently expressed in our own dataset.
